Overview

Gyri ("we") operates the Gyri knowledge platform and MCP connector at https://api.gyri.io/mcp. This policy describes how we handle data when you connect Claude (or other MCP clients) to Gyri.

Data we collect

When you connect via OAuth, we receive:

Your Gyri user identifier and profile (email, display name) for authentication
MCP tool invocations (queries, mutations) scoped to workspaces you belong to
Standard server logs (IP, timestamps, request metadata) for security and reliability

We do not sell your data.

How we use data

Authenticate and authorize MCP access to your workspaces
Execute search, GraphQL, and agent operations you request through Claude
Improve product reliability, security, and support

Third parties

**Anthropic / Claude** — OAuth client connecting to Gyri on your behalf
**Infrastructure providers** — hosting, email, database (under our data processing terms)

Your workspace content may include third-party integrations (Google, Slack, CRM APIs) you configured separately.

Retention

OAuth authorization codes: minutes (single use)
Access tokens: configurable TTL (default 1 hour)
Workspace content: until you delete it or close your account
Logs: limited retention for operations and security

Your choices

Revoke connector access in Claude settings
Revoke Gyri sessions in Gyri account settings
Delete workspace data per workspace policies
